Freeman Tennis Courts
The Freeman Tennis Courts are operated by the Borough of Glen Ridge Recreation Department and are located on the corner of Woodland Avenue and Willowdale Avenue in Montclair. Home of the Glen Ridge High School boys’ and girls’ tennis teams, the facility features seven clay courts and is open seven days a week, early April through October (weather permitting). Registration and payment is required.
Registration is now open for the 2025 season – ON LINE REGISTRATION ONLY – Registration must take place 48 hours in advance of playing:
- Resident Season (7 months, April-Oct) $250 or $75/month
- Senior (55+) Resident Season (April-Oct) $100 or $60/month
- Non-Resident (including senior citizens) Season (April-Oct) $370 or $115/month
- Team Member Season (match play only) $85
- 2025 Morning Kids Camp (Ages 5-9)
- June 23 – August 29 9:00am – 12:00pm, Monday – Friday
- $300 per week or $70 a day for single days
- Glen Ridge resident discount of 10% with the code “glenridge10” – the code can be entered in the promo code box at checkout and it’s case sensitive.
