The Borough of Glen Ridge is committed to establishing and implementing safeguards to protect the health, safety, and welfare of all its citizens, and is firmly committed to protecting our volunteers, as well as children under the care and supervision of Borough volunteer organizations from all forms of physical, mental, sexual and emotional abuse.
Borough administration is currently working with our insurance provider https://njmel.org/ to establish a program with procedures that shall apply to all officials, employees, and volunteers organizations under the Borough’s insurance umbrella.

Environmental Advisory Committee
Environmental Advisory Committee was established for protection, use and restoration of natural resources and open space located within the Borough of Glen Ridge. The Committee keeps the Mayor and Council aware of environmental initiatives and be advocates of sustainability within the community. The Committee creates awareness and understanding of the environment through education.
